Preschoolers
Wiggles & Giggles and Kids TIME
Preschool Music & Movement
Kids TIME - 10-11:30am Tuesdays, at the Waikaia Church Wiggles & Giggles - 10-11:30am Wednesdays, at the Riversdale Church $2 per child (under 1s are free) Our preschool mornings include: A 20-30 minute music and movement session involving a variety of songs that encourage fine and gross motor skills, development of rhythm and confidence, fun props including stretchy lycra, puppets and a colourful parachute A short story - usually from a kids' Bible or a faith-based storybook Morning tea Play time - a chance for the kids to gain social skills and for the parents to relax and socialize |
In Church
Kids are always welcome in church - as a family we expect there to be some noise and distraction from our youngest members. If you do need to take your young child out, there are couches and toys in both church foyers, where you can soothe or distract while still being able to hear and see the service. There is a changing table by the kitchen in Waikaia, and a side room available for feeding, should you wish for some privacy. The Riversdale Church has a nursery for parents/caregivers and under-3's with a change table, feeding chair, snacks, water & sippy cups, toys, and a porta-cot.
Currently all our Waikaia Sunday School children are meeting together as one large group. In Riversdale the Crossfire Sunday School is open to kids aged 3-10 (although we are flexible if visiting 11-12 year-olds want to join in). Our program includes a mix of some singing, prayer, story time, snack, and age-appropriate activities, depending on the day and location. We also hold a fortnightly bible study for girls aged 10-14 at the Riversdale Church during the sermon. You are more than welcome to stay with your child while they are in Sunday School. |

Afterschool Clubs
Superkidz - 3-4:30pm Mondays, at the Waikaia Church
Transformers - 3-4:30pm Tuesdays, at the Riversdale Church Ages 5-12 years Our after-school clubs are FREE to attend, and include: Snacks! Fun games and activities A Bible, character, or skill-development based lesson Art and Craft projects |

Friday Night Youth
7-9pm Fridays, at the Riversdale Church
